Day 4 - Early Random thoughts

Last night, we had dinner very early, 16:30.  I was so hungry, I haven't been able to eat or think straight.  We were sitting around the dinner table talking about what happened on Sunday, and all I could keep thinking about was that I could not understand my daughter.  So after dinner I broke out the English-Lithuanian dictionary and was trying to remember key words.  The words I have so much trouble trying to say and remember is "prašau", which means "please".  "Labai ačiu" means "Thank you very much", and lastly "nėra už ką" means "You are very welcome."

So a few minutes ago I came back in from smoking and I am looking around the courtyard and I start to think.  I have not seen any Ford/Lincoln/Mercury or even Chevy vehicles.  I know those would be "foreign" here, but it is so odd since we see them all the time in America.  Now I have seen some Mazda's and Nissan's, which I am not too surprised about.  The takis are mostly VW and Mercedes.  There are a few cars that I know we used to have in the States at one time, but you do not see them as much is, Peugot and Renault.  There are a couple others which just have a "symbol", but I am not sure what they are.

These are just a couple of things that I am thinking about... trust me there is about a thousand more that I could type in all morning.

We are going to see Akvila again this morning... takis is picking us up at 09:45 hrs and we should be able to spend 2 hours with her today.  During that time, she will decide if she wants to come back to the apartment with us.
