Ok so it has been a very long day. It is now 11:30 PM and Akvila is still awake and running around. She had a huge meltdown for about an hour early this afternoon. I was trying so hard to comfort her and it was very difficult. I think when I started to cry she realized she was not the only one hurting. It took a little while longer and then it was like a light switch. She stopped crying, she started watching Shrek and she has been having a ball.
I am amazed that she has not gotten upset again, she saw it get dark outside and everything and seems to be doing great. We will see how things go tomorrow when we go to the embassy. I will try to keep everyone in the loop but now I am in mommy mode and have to entertain a 6 year old.
