Mom and I arrived in Vilnius today. I have still not gotten much sleep, only about 2 1/2 hours on the last plane. Feeling ok, just have bloodshot eyes. We have started to unpack some things. We are going to see Akvila in about and hour and I am very excited. Rasa told us today that she has been very excited waiting for me to come back and has been learning some english, when she was at the orphanage about 2 weeks ago she said Akvila was saying Hi Mommy and Hi Daddy. Don't know how much she has learned but will soon find out.
Thankfully the plane trip this time went much smoother. Met mom in Detroit and had no missed connections and no lost luggage. We picked up the bags I left here and then came back to the apartment which is very nice. It's only a one bedroom but is not much smaller than the last one.
I emailed Wayne to let him know we were here. I do miss him already since he is usually the one to make sure we are going where we need to go and planning what we need to get done each day. I am feeling a little unorganized at the moment.
Well I am going to try to relax and drink some coffee to keep myself awake for a few more hours before I crash for the night and try to get through the jet lag before I bring Akvila to the apartment tomorrow. I will try to post some pictures when we get back but we have to go get some groceries and make sure the apartment is ready for tomorrow.
