When we got to the orphanage, Akvila was not upstairs. The caregiver came down stairs and looked in the little playroom we have been playing in, but she was not there either. She signaled us to follow her. We went to the other side of the orphanage and found her on the way over to the new playroom.
She gave Peggy and Grandma a hug, but she was hesitant with me today. So in this playroom, there is a lot more things to do. Which is good, because we were running out of ideas and things to do in the other area. They have these cardboard boxes that are painted like bricks. So we started to build different things. First it was a tower. We got it pretty high, then Akvila wanted me to stop. Hand them back down (she said it Lithuanian). So they all came down; and then we built like a little house area. She made Peggy get inside and then she started to load it with little tables and stuffed animals. After a while Peggy's tush was hurting from sitting on the ground, so she got up. I got the idea of making dominoes with the boxes, so Peg started that first; then Akvila pushed them down. She liked this so we spent the next 40 minutes playing with dominoes.
So time was nearing the end and we started to clean up. Akvila gave hugs to mommy and grandma, but still wouldn't hug me. Hopefully soon she will get used to me.
Here are a couple of videos and pictures from todays visit.
