Well, as I stated earlier we did not go and see Akvila tonight. We prepared our speeches for the court and had some lunch.
Peggy and I went to this place called "Pizza Jazz." The dough was almost like a flatbread, with some pizza sauce, sausage, bacon, olives, red peppers, artichoke hearts, onions and cheese. Now they do not spread it all around like our traditional U.S. pizza. It was placed in groups on the pizza. We picked at the pizza to spread the toppings around some, so we had some of each. It wasn't bad, but not the same as "home."
Dinner tonight was at Čili Kaimas (Chilly Village):
Alus "Ekstra" 0,5 L
Plikyta arbata
TR. daržovių sr. su varške
Bulviniai blynai
Aitrus r. kopūstų troškinys
Graikiškas višt kepsnys
Obuolių pyragas su ledais
Trupininis rabarbarų pyragas
Variškės bokšteliai
Kava juoda
Translation:
Beer Extra 0.5 L
Scalded tea
TR. Vegetables sr. with cottage cheese - (This was a vegetable soup with Curd, not actual cottage cheese)
Potato pancakes - (Just like it says, pretty good)
See Pungent cabbage stew - (On the menu this said Hot Saurkraut with Spicy Flank)
Greek roast chicken - (Chicken Breast stuffed with walnuts and prunes)
Apple pie with ice cream (Apple Pie was hot and needed more sugar)
Rhubarb pie Trupininis - (Should be crumbled Rhubarb Pie)
Variskiai towers - (Chocolate cake towers with curd and raspberry sauce)
Black coffee - (OMG! I almost ran around the block... reminded me of even stronger 7-Eleven Coffee)
The total was 75,52 Lt; USD $30.18
The food was good, we are full tonight. Hard to believe it was that inexpensive. Guess we can afford to eat out more :-) Or actually afford more taksi fares.
Update: Akvila told the person from the law office she didn't like my beard. So I shaved tonight.
